About The Position

The Basement Brewhaus Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the overall inventory, ordering and accounting of the Basement Brewhaus stock including, but not limited to: beverages, bagels, dairy, soup, condiments, paper & plastic products, coffee supplies, cleaning supplies, coffee, and tea. This position reports to the Basement Brewhaus Student Manager and the Assistant Director of Campus Activities.

Requirements

• Applicants must be available to maintain a minimum of 15 office hours per week during the semester and attend weekly staff meetings.
• Some working hours during breaks may be available.
• The Inventory Coordinator must be able to supervise and work without direct supervision.
• Students applying for this position must pass a Criminal Background Check initiated by the University Centers.
• Successful applicants must complete mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Training within 8 weeks of beginning employment.
• PCI training will be provided by the University Centers and must be kept up to date throughout employment with the University Centers.
• Successful applicants must also enroll in a Responsible Beverage Training class and obtain a Portage County Operator’s License within their first semester of employment.
• The Inventory Coordinator must be at least a part-time student (enrolled in a minimum of 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits) and be in good academic standing (cumulative and semester GPAs of 2.0 or higher) at the time of hiring and throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in customer service, food service, and/or as a barista/bartender is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or spreadsheet usage is ideal.
• Preference will be given to qualified candidates with at least two semesters remaining at UWSP.
