JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Breast Radiologist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Orangeburg, SC • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: 06/22/2026 – 09/26/2026 • Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible Schedule; Daytime Coverage COVERAGE DATES • Start Date: June 22, 2026 • End Date: September 26, 2026 • Coverage Required for Maternity Leave • Additional Coverage May Be Requested for Affiliate Sites PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: Based on Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Workflow • Admissions: No • Rounding: Not Included • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: Breast Imaging Including Screening and Diagnostic Mammography FACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: No Trauma • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology Equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Radiology and Multispecialty Clinical Teams • Support Staff Available: Radiology Technologists and Imaging Support Staff • Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave Backfill PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Car Rental: Covered • Additional Compensation: $500 Flat Rate for Completion of Hospital Modules and Epic Personalization REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Screening Mammography • Diagnostic Mammography • Breast Imaging Interpretation and Reporting JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active South Carolina Medical License Required • Board: Board Eligible (Within 5 Years) or Board Certified • Certifications: MQSA Case Logs Required (24 Months) • Experience: Fellowship Training in Breast Radiology Required • Other Qualifications: Epic Proficiency Required; Submission Checklist and Modality Checklist Required at Presentation DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide breast imaging interpretation and diagnostic services • Support breast imaging services across hospital and affiliate imaging sites • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams • Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR • Ensure compliance with imaging protocols and patient care standards
Requirements
- Active South Carolina Medical License Required
- Board Eligible (Within 5 Years) or Board Certified
- MQSA Case Logs Required (24 Months)
- Fellowship Training in Breast Radiology Required
- Epic Proficiency Required
- Submission Checklist and Modality Checklist Required at Presentation
