About The Position

This role is for a Breakfast Server at the Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown, managed by SPIRE Hospitality. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Detroit, a short walk from dining and entertainment, including Greektown, Comerica Park, Ford Field, Detroit Opera House, and the Fillmore. SPIRE Hospitality is a management company focused on creating memorable guest experiences and providing support, tools, and opportunities for employee growth. The position involves providing amazing guest service and maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. It also states that the role, along with an engineering team, is responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent
Minimum of 1 year Server experience in a similar role
Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
Food Handlers Certification required

Nice To Haves

Server experience in a similar size of operation preferred

Responsibilities

Crafts dishes according to standard recipes or guest specifications
Ensures meticulous product storage and precise portion control for each dish
Minimizes spoilage and waste through effective product rotation
Monitors food, produce, and cooking supply levels to facilitate timely reordering
Maintains impeccable cleanliness and functionality of refrigeration, storage, and work areas
Provide amazing guest service
Maintaining the full operational functionality of the building
Responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building
