About The Position

Are you an early riser with a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences? Ocean Restaurant, located at the luxurious Cape Arundel Inn in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine, is seeking a personable and dedicated part-time Breakfast Server to join our front-of-house team. As a Breakfast Server, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests see each morning, providing attentive, high-quality service in a serene oceanfront setting. Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion
Needs to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions
Understanding of hotel restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages
Responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events
Continually strive for sales growth by having ongoing knowledge of all current menus
Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate your guest’s needs
Set the tone for success with a positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm
Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
Be a good example while working alongside team members
