About The Position

The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is seeking a creative, skilled, guest-focused restaurant server to join its team of fun-spirited team members! The 250+ room hotel, with nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting space, is conveniently located for business and leisure travelers. Our property is just a short drive from the world-famous Mall of America. Some of our features include a full-service, modern American Restaurant concept with creatively crafted Food and Beverage offerings with a Minnesota twist. Other amenities include our indoor heated junior Olympic-sized pool, whirlpool, and 24-hour fitness center. Food Servers are essential to the success of the restaurant team and will provide outstanding guest service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a smile. Requirements

  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Server experience in a similar role; size of operation preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Alcohol Beverage server certification is preferred.
  • Food handler certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
  • Enthusiastically take and deliver guests' food and beverage orders.
  • Regularly revisit the table to ensure beverages are refilled, and guest satisfaction is maintained.
  • Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest.
  • Maintain daily restaurant organization, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.
