Requirements

Responsibilities

  • The Hotel Breakfast Server is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience during breakfast service
  • Greeting guests warmly and guiding them to available seating.
  • Take drink and food orders if offering à la carte service.
  • Answer questions about the menu and accommodate dietary restrictions when possible.
  • Provide prompt and friendly service, ensuring guests have everything they need.
  • Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet or table service area.
  • Refill food, beverages, and condiments as needed.
  • Deliver hot or special orders efficiently.
  • Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages.
  • Keep tables, counters, and the buffet area clean and well-stocked.
  • Clear used dishes and reset tables quickly.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Work closely with kitchen and hotel staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally.
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies.
  • Break down and clean up the breakfast area after service ends.
  • Store leftover food properly or dispose of waste as required.
  • Prepare the area for the next service or shift.
