About The Position
The Breakfast Line Cook at Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina is a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of our breakfast menu items. As a part time individual contributor, the Breakfast Line Cook will be responsible for working closely with the kitchen team to prepare and execute breakfast orders for guests. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have previous cooking experience and a passion for creating delicious breakfast dishes.
Requirements
- Previous cooking experience, preferably in a commercial setting
- Knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and recipes
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and work area
- Stock and maintain supplies and equipment required for breakfast service
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with inventory kitchen supplies
- Train and mentor new kitchen staff as needed
