About The Position

The Breakfast Cook at Springfield Residence Inn is responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items with consistency and care, following standardized recipes. This role involves supporting breakfast setup, line preparation, and kitchen opening/closing duties. Key responsibilities include adhering to food safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, operating and maintaining kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations, ensuring food is prepped for the following day, and assisting with inventory rotation. The position requires a positive, team-first attitude and flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Prior culinary or food service experience (6 months preferred)
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
• A positive, team-first attitude with flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

• Culinary certification is a plus
