About The Position

A Breakfast Attendant ensures guests have a pleasant, efficient, and satisfying breakfast experience. This role involves preparing, setting up, maintaining, and replenishing the breakfast buffet area while providing friendly and attentive customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain the breakfast area, including arranging food, beverages, utensils, and supplies.
  • Prepare basic food items such as fruit, pastries, oatmeal, eggs, or beverages (depending on the property).
  • Ensure food safety and cleanliness by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and assist with any special requests.
  • Monitor buffet items and restock food and beverages as needed to keep items fresh and available.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, counters, equipment, and serving stations throughout and after service.
  • Maintain inventory of breakfast items and communicate supply needs to management.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Comply with hotel policies and health and safety regulations.
