Responsible for preparing/setting up/servicing breakfast bar and assisting guests efficiently and courteously. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Set up breakfast area. Prepare breakfast according to operational policies and DKN Hotels’ standards. Attend to guests needs to ensure food and beverages are continually replenished and presented in an appealing manner. Inventory food items and report on supplies to be ordered. Control inventory for loss, waste and spoilage. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen/breakfast bar area to DKN Hotels’ standards and all health codes at all times. Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to the housekeeping supervisor. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Deliver DKN’s "Home Away From Home" experience Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time. Supervisory Responsibility: None Independent Judgment Used: Only within the guidelines established by management and to the extent of operating within DKN Hotels’ policies and procedures. Working Conditions/Environment: Breakfast area and kitchen including commercial equipment for cooking, refrigeration, dishwashing and cleaning agents.
