Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service (preferred).
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and address their needs.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to prepare and handle food safely (a food handler’s permit may be required).
- Willingness to work collaboratively with coworkers.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks or guest demands.
- Applicants should have flexibility to work weekends & holidays
Responsibilities
- The Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience during breakfast service
- Food Preparation and Presentation Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet or menu items.
- Ensure food is fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Guest Service Greeting guests warmly and address their questions or needs.
- Assist with special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions).
- Cleaning and Maintenance Keep the breakfast area clean and organized, including tables, counters, and buffet stations.
- Restock supplies like plates, utensils, and condiments.
- Inventory and Restocking Monitor inventory and report low supplies to management.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Compliance Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Follow hotel policies and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
