About The Position

The Breakfast Buffet Attendant ensures the hotel’s breakfast service runs smoothly by preparing the buffet area, replenishing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly service to guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service (helpful but not always required)
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight
• Attention to detail

• Basic food handling knowledge
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Fast-paced hotel dining area
• Early morning hours (Shifts range from 6a-1p)

Responsibilities

• Set up the breakfast buffet with food items, beverages, utensils, and serving equipment before service begins
• Replenish food and drinks throughout service to keep items fresh and fully stocked
• Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation
• Greet guests and assist with basic requests (e.g., seating guidance, refills, directions)
• Keep dining and buffet areas clean, organized, and sanitary
• Clear tables and properly dispose of trash and used dishes
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Break down and clean the buffet area after service
• Report low inventory or equipment issues to supervisors
