Breakfast Attendant Position Summary: Provide a welcoming breakfast experience by setting up and maintaining the service area, serving food, being knowledgeable about available food items, and delivering friendly and efficient guest service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Serving Station Preparation: Prepare the area and set up breakfast items, ensuring all food is fresh, properly presented, and replenished as needed.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, answer questions about breakfast offerings, and assist with any special requests.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of breakfast items and supplies, and communicate needs to the supervisor.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure food is handled and stored properly.
  • Customer Service: Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and work rules, including those outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Adapt to varying business demands, which may require working different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
