Summary/Objective To perform a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel guest satisfaction and delivering the Breakfast experience following the Brand Guidelines contributing to a pleasant, positive experience in restaurant and bar. Essential Functions 1. Provides professional and courteous service at all times. 2. Adheres to all recipes, methods and direction per Brand standards and direction from the general manager 3. Ensures the food prepared is of the highest quality 4. Checks food and storage area temperatures twice a day, records the temperatures on the log sheet and notifies maintenance of any issues 5. Maintains an organized and efficient production flow of breakfast. 6. Is responsible for the kitchen area’s cleanliness and sanitation, according but not limited to Brand standards and local Health Codes. 7. Places kitchen food and supplies orders per schedule, checks in all kitchen orders and ensure the accuracy of the supplier invoices as to the quantity and quality of products received. 8. Collects and distributes cashing handling for hotel 9. Insure the safety of our guest’s property assets; never open door for guest’s who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk) Competencies 1. Customer/Client Focus. 2. Stress Management/Composure. 3. Thoroughness. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities, reports to front office manager and general manager. Work Environment This job operates in a hotel environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as vacuum, mop, broom, cooking, frying, gas oven, gas stove top, heat lamp, and dishwasher. Physical Demands the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms able to lift 30lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work this is a part time position, regularly requiring long hours and frequent weekend work. Travel some travel needed for brand certification.
