About The Position

Housekeeping Lead Summary/Objective Housekeeping Lead responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training, motivating team members, and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Minimum, plus 2 years previous housekeeping supervisor experience in the hotel industry

Responsibilities

  • Train room attendants on brand standards on cleaning guest room /and bathroom
  • Stay within the minutes per room allocated for the property
  • Supervises staff on the daily basis; room should be inspected and placed back into clean status every 30minutes
  • Maintains hallways, common areas, and stairwells for cleanliness
  • Resolves guest Concerns quickly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Complete daily and monthly paperwork
  • Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in case of absences
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of housekeeping personnel
  • Complete monthly linen inventory and secures all items in a secured room
  • Completes quarterly general cleans for each room
  • Complete maintenance tickets for any items not working in the room or safety concerns
  • Insure the safety of our guest’s property assets; never open door for guest’s who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk)
