About The Position

If you enjoy baked bread you will love our fresh new Baked Breads Department at our Ramsey, NJ Uncle Giuseppe's Store! We have an immediate need for a PT Bread Clerk to assist customers with their bread selection needs. Our Baked Bread Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Bread Clerks should be friendly, greet and be courteous to customers and work with management and other associates to provide a high level of customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.
Must be able to speak, read and communicate in the English language

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
Display our freshly baked breads in an appealing counter display
Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with the NYS Standards as well as QA standards
Keep floors clean and clear of debris and spills
Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance
Maintain and properly use all department equipment as require
Rotate product to ensure freshness
Other duties and functions as assigned
