About The Position
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Keep breader/predust and batter machines at proper ingredients usage level. Keep work area clean. Help set-up line at the start of the shift Assist with clean-up and sanitation of the line following USDA/TYSON guidelines. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. All qualified applicants' safety will be reviewed. Must be able to follow safe work practices including the use of personal protective equipment when required. Must be able to follow all sanitary procedures and policies. Schedule: 6:45am - production ends Monday through Friday, some Saturday work Pay rate: $18.25/hour This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
Requirements
- Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when needed
- Must not have a written warning/written warning with suspension in the last 6 months.
- Must not have a self-disqualification or self-demotion in the last (6) months.
- Successful bidders will not be allowed to bid for (6) months unless the bid is for a higher classification rating.
- Must have less than 8 attendance points at the time of the bid and to be awarded the job.
- Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, that holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
