About The Position
Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is seeking a Brazer for a manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. This company specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets. The position is temp-to-hire, with a pay rate of $20-$22 per hour.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 3 years of brazing experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment
- Proficient in brazing techniques and torch operation
- Ability to pass a hands-on brazing test
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow precise instructions
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Perform brazing operations to join metal components according to production and quality standards
- Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Assemble and braze components using copper, brass, aluminum, or similar materials
- Maintain consistent heat control to ensure strong, clean, and leak-free joints
- Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed work
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
