Position Summary SHEIN Distribution Corporation is seeking a Buying Manager (official title is Brands Operations Manager) for Beauty. Within this role you will be responsible for building a US supply chain from the ground up to broaden the brand offering for the beauty category on SHEIN Marketplace. This includes procurement for major skin care and perfume brands from wholesalers and distributors. We are seeking someone who is ahead of market trends, knows best-selling products and can ensure supply chain ability during rapid scaling. This position will include balancing flexible procurement and large-scale purchases to help achieve the company's business goals. Additionally, the role requires relationships with wholesalers and distributors who meet SHEIN's supplier criteria.

Requirements

4+ years of procurement, business development, or vendor management experience within the beauty industry.
Strong network of established connections within wholesaler and distributor networks.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. beauty wholesale procurement processes, with the ability to swiftly engage suppliers and establish effective partnerships.
Exceptional negotiation skills to secure best terms for pricing, MOQ, and delivery conditions.
Strong market insight to identify trending best-sellers and optimize procurement strategies effectively.
Flexibility and strategic planning skills to manage both small-scale and large-scale procurement needs seamlessly

Responsibilities

Supplier Development and Management
Focus on the beauty category by utilizing existing resources to efficiently identify and assess wholesalers and distributors as potential partners for brands such as The Ordinary, Victoria's Secret, Rihanna, Christian Dior, and CeraVe, and many more.
Proactively identify and evaluate new suppliers within the beauty category to ensure competitive pricing and reliable inventory support for leading brands
Price Negotiation and Contract Signing
Drive pricing and MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) negotiations specifically for beauty brand products, enabling small-scale trial purchases while laying the groundwork for long-term bulk procurement partnerships.
Align procurement terms with SHEIN's strategic priorities by securing competitive pricing, timely delivery, and flexibility, with a focus on beauty brand merchandise.
Market Insights and Demand Forecasting
Analyze trends in the U.S. beauty market, focusing on identifying potential best-sellers from leading brands.
Develop and optimize procurement strategies based on market demand and consumer feedback.
Monitor beauty category inventory levels to ensure an efficient supply chain aligned with platforms sales targets.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to understand market needs and tailor procurement strategies accordingly.
Supply Chain Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the global procurement team and cross-functional departments to streamline procurement processes and improve logistics efficiency for beauty category products.
Oversee supplier performance to ensure consistent service quality and drive continuous improvement, with a focus on partnerships involving major beauty brands.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turnover) and collaborate on continuous improvement efforts.
