About The Position

Tri Delta is seeking an experienced higher education communications or marketing professional to join our Brand Advancement team. The ideal candidate will be able to represent the “voice” of Tri Delta’s collegiate members in all marketing materials, communications strategies, and team meetings. They will be the project manager and liaison between the Brand Advancement team and other collegiate member focused teams across the organization, ensuring that project deliverables are met while keeping stakeholders informed. This position is ideal for a passionate storyteller with strong project management skills to share and amplify the diverse experiences and backgrounds of the collegiate women of Tri Delta. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or student engagement, preferably within a nonprofit, higher education, or membership-based organization.
  • Experience in content development for digital and print platforms, including newsletters, podcasts, and social media.
  • Familiarity with project coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored to a collegiate audience
  • Ability to gather and curate content from multiple sources and formats
  • Experience with content calendars and campaign planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with collegians, volunteers, and internal teams
  • Ability to represent the collegiate voice in strategic conversations and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with project management tools and workflows.
  • Ability to evaluate communications effectiveness using data and feedback
  • Strategic mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication platforms
  • Abide by and lead others in Tri Delta’s project management process and practices.
  • Receive and act on feedback; focus on self-development to become the best version of yourself.
  • Pursue open and consistent communication with Tri Delta employees and volunteers.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional coursework or certification in digital media, nonprofit communications, or project management is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and basic design software is a plus.
  • Experience working with college students or campus-based organizations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with collegiate chapters to understand their marketing needs and audiences through coordination with the Growth, Engagement, and Support teams.
  • Collaborate with collegians to gather stories and updates for Tri Delta communications, including social media, The Trident, capital campaign materials, the Let’s Talk Tri Delta podcast, and other digital and print outlets.
  • Serve as the on-site liaison between chapters and Brand Advancement during key events (i.e., chapter openings, milestone anniversaries, housing campaigns, new house openings, etc.)
  • Develop and distribute collegiate-specific resources such as toolkits and digital assets.
  • Represent the collegiate voice in strategic communications conversations across the Enterprise.
  • Leverage communication and creative resources as the project liaison for collegiate-directed communications.
  • Collaborate with strategic communications team members to maintain an enterprise communications calendar.
  • Effectively communicate and make available the Brand Advancement project management process across the organization.
  • Evaluate collegiate communications by gathering data and feedback to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
