We’re looking for a Brand & Social Media Specialist who’s eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting break-through campaigns that keep Hertz top-of-mind for travelers everywhere. This role will also support the development and execution of social media campaigns & strategies to build brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive business goals across paid and organic social. This role focuses on hands-on execution and collaboration—helping the team deliver best-in-class marketing and social media initiatives. This role reports to the Director, Brand Marketing. Salary expected to be around $60k commensurate with experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required.
  • 1 – 4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, social media management, project management or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using social media management software like Sprout, Sprinklr, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with all social media platforms and emerging trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing social media accounts for large brand(s) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting all social media efforts by scheduling posts, managing community interactions, boosting, sourcing content/content creation, monitoring trends, and interpreting performance analytics.
  • Utilizes social media management programs to organize and build content calendars in partnership with agency and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in campaign execution across digital, social, and traditional channels by coordinating timelines, reviewing creative, and tracking & trafficking deliverables.
  • Help prepare briefs and presentations for agency partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Proof and review marketing materials for accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Compile performance data and assist in frequent reporting of campaign results and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.
  • Research industry trends and competitor activity to inform creative and strategic decisions.
