About The Position

Nitra's mission is to build a more efficient healthcare system and the technology that makes it possible. Nitra offers physicians and medical clinics around the country credit and expense management products they crucially need, as well as a medical supply marketplace, in an all-in-one platform powered by machine learning technologies. Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Plaid, and Goldman Sachs. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD. We're looking for: A Brand & Social Lead to own and grow Nitra’s social media presence across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This role will be responsible for shaping how Nitra shows up to the world — building brand awareness, driving engagement, and telling compelling stories about our customers and products. We’re looking for someone who is both highly strategic and deeply hands-on: a strong social media operator who understands algorithms and platform dynamics, and who is also excited to be the on-camera face of the brand. This person will act as a brand ambassador and influencer for Nitra, creating authentic, high-impact content that resonates with our audience and builds trust in the brand. This role requires regular travel on a weekly basis to client sites to shoot content

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, brand, content, or creator-focused roles
  • Proven experience growing and engaging audiences on major social platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, engagement patterns, and content distribution
  • Hands-on experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
  • Comfort and confidence being on camera and acting as a public-facing representative of a brand
  • Experience interviewing customers or stakeholders and making them comfortable on video
  • An influencer mindset — you know how to capture attention, tell compelling stories, and build trust with an audience

Responsibilities

  • Owning and managing Nitra’s social media channels across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive social and content strategy aligned with Nitra’s brand and business goals
  • Serving as the primary on-camera personality for Nitra’s social content, including short-form and long-form video
  • Creating, shooting, and editing engaging video content such as Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and YouTube videos
  • Collaborating with customers to film testimonials, interviews, and real-world stories that highlight the impact of Nitra
  • Driving engagement, audience growth, and brand awareness through platform-native content and storytelling
  • Staying current on social media algorithms, trends, and best practices, and adapting strategy accordingly
  • Experimenting with content formats, hooks, narratives, and posting strategies to optimize performance
  • Analyzing social performance metrics and translating insights into actionable improvements
  • Partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership to align messaging and campaigns
  • Helping define and evolve Nitra’s brand voice and visual presence on social media
