About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Brand & Digital Marketing, the Brand Marketing Specialist will support the full brand team. This role will play a key role in executing brand strategies specific to the United States and Canada as directed by the Director. Schedule Monday-Wednesday in-office

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required; Master’s Degree or Marketing Certificates a plus
  • 2+ years of experience including relevant internships
  • A desire to be immersed in the wine business
  • Passion for building brands and exposure to breakthrough consumer advertising, retail activation, and media execution
  • Excitement for developing brand positioning, consumer articulation and strategy
  • Experience partnering with sales teams & mobilizing to achieve business goals
  • Able to influence agencies and engage with focused briefs/feedback
  • Experience working with business data systems is a plus
  • Think like a business owner – someone who can take initiative and get things done while having fun in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience managing budgets

Responsibilities

  • Internal & External Brand Champion: Support brand team in building sell presentation that show our storytelling skills, passion and energy for our brands
  • Support team in building brand positioning to appeal & gain traction with the target consumers
  • Assist on day-to-day business management to keep brand team moving at a fast-pace & executing best-in-class work
  • Act as internal liaison with cross functional teams, including but not limited to: Winemaking, Production, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Pricing and S&OP
  • Maintain awareness of brand status and variables, communicate status to cross functional partners where needed in ad-hoc meetings
  • Regularly attend varying project meetings on behalf of brand team, provide notes and lead action steps
  • Manage packaging related tasks in partnership with Project Management, winemaking, and procurement teams
  • Lead budget management for key brands (reconciliations, recommendations, invoice processing, tracking etc.)
  • Manage sales asks where needed in partnership with Trade Marketing team
  • Assist in annual brand planning process including program ideation, innovation research, pricing and volume recommendations, etc.
  • Assist in gathering key insights for brand business reviews
  • Assist in development of brand assets and related marketing materials including digital media campaign, in store POS, tasting room materials, etc.
  • Assist in relationship management across agency partners (media, creative, PR agencies)
  • Represent brand at events where needed
  • Manage accolade tracking for full portfolio of wines
  • Provide holistic support for entire Marketing Department including managing sample requests, misc. department projects, meeting, and event coordination, etc.
