About The Position

Key Responsibilities: General administrative support to the Brand Marketing department. Coordination of internal communications for Brand Marketing department including organization of weekly staff meetings and the development and distribution of meeting notes and outcomes. Traffic marketing campaign assets and creatives to owned marketing channels. Conduct research and benchmarking of brand strategies across sports and entertainment teams and leagues. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Brand Marketing events throughout the season, both onsite and offsite. Assist the Brand Marketing & Operations Manager on marketing creative tracking and requests. Put together all Brand Marketing landing pages on Tigers.com including all marquee weekends and Tigers Design Series. Support the execution of Marquee Weekends and other major events and programs—including Strike Out Cancer Weekend, Black in Baseball Weekend, and the 125th Anniversary, etc. (Requires designated games and offsite events, including day/night games and weekends). Support the Kids Club Kiosk operations on game days as needed (requires working designated day, night, weekend, and holiday games). Serve as the liaison for all artists featured in the Tigers Design Series and support all related program elements as needed. Work alongside the Brand Marketing & Operations Manager to craft comprehensive recap decks that showcase the success and impact of major events and marquee weekends. Oversee departmental charitable donations and fan mail/gift requests. Manage department autographed memorabilia inventory. Manage credentials, security and parking requests for Brand Marketing-related programs and events. Assist with other Brand Marketing aspects as needed. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: College senior or recent graduate Prior internship or administrative experience Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent writing and communication skills Available from at least end of March to end of October Professional demeanor and attitude in office setting Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Office Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Working Conditions: Exposure to moderate noise level. Able to lift 30lbs Frequent visual/auditory attention. This position will require working non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
