About The Position

W Magazine is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and curious summer intern to support the Strategic Brand Lead in executing high-impact brand strategy and revenue-driving initiatives across digital, print, experiential, and 360° partnerships. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to learn the inner workings of brand marketing, sales strategy, client development, and editorial collaboration within a leading luxury media brand. This is a paid, part-time opportunity beginning June 1, 2026, and runs through August 7, 2026. Candidates should be available to work up to 25 hours per week, and will be given the choice to work either remotely or from W’s New York City HQ office, depending on their role. W’s 2026 Spring Internship Program is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience at one of the fastest-growing digital media companies today. Our immersive program gives each intern the chance to explore and develop their interests through executive mentorship, career training, collaborative projects, professional development seminars and workshops, and more. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. Responsibilities

  • Assist with general administrative tasks, scheduling, printing, etc.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized drive with clearly labeled, easy-to-navigate folders for cross-team access
  • Develop and manage a structured image library, including both branded and non-branded assets (e.g., “Perfume: Brunello Cucinelli Images,” “Fashion: General”)
  • Coordinate logistics for upcoming fall events, including travel booking (flights, hotels) and scheduling support as needed
  • Conduct comprehensive venue research to identify locations aligned with event objectives, budget, and logistical requirements
  • Conduct competitive event research to analyze industry trends, benchmark performance, and identify potential sponsors
  • Support the preparation of event materials, including creating seating charts and assembling on-site resources to ensure smooth execution
