About The Position

Chicago-based e-commerce retailer seeking an ambitious, self-motivated and data-driven individual to join our team as an Amazon Associate Brand Manager. The Associate Brand Manager will have the opportunity to join a multi-brand consumer e-commerce platform, backed by Skybox Capital, in a lean startup environment where they will be given a significant amount of responsibility and will be expected to provide valuable insights and contribute to value creation initiatives. The company has developed a portfolio of leading multi-million-dollar private label consumer brands and established itself amongst the most experienced sellers of private label consumer goods on Amazon. Building Skybox Capital’s track record of successful brand development and funded by tech entrepreneurs who have created billion-dollar enterprises, the company is gearing up to rapidly gain share in its industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Work and/or internship experience in data analysis, trading or competitive pricing; experience in e-commerce marketplaces a plus.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Must bring a process improvement and value creation mindset to the role.
  • Tremendous work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to learn and ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PowerBI or other business intelligence systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and adjusting e-commerce prices to optimize inventory sell-through and ROI in alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Collecting and analyzing data on market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
  • Developing and documenting data-based, repeatable pricing strategies.
  • Managing pricing and sell-through reports and presenting to management on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborating with marketing, content, sourcing and other cross-functional team members to maximize success of each brand.
  • Utilizing data analytics tools to proactively identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
  • Gaining expert insight into Amazon and other marketplace best practices
  • Leading the development process for new products from research to launch execution.
