About The Position

Moon Valley Nurseries, the largest box tree grower in America, is looking for a Brand Manager to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and retail growth across multiple markets. This role is both strategic and highly hands-on—balancing long-term brand building with day-to-day execution that directly supports our retail and sales teams. Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a brand management, retail, or consumer marketing role.
  • Proven success in driving customer growth through integrated marketing campaigns (digital, in-store, and local/regional).
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects at once and see them through from start to finish.
  • Excellent communicator who can collaborate across departments and influence at all levels.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented, with strong business acumen and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to dig into the details to get things done.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required

Responsibilities

  • Lead brand strategy and execution to strengthen awareness, loyalty, and customer acquisition across retail and service markets.
  • Develop and launch high-impact campaigns that drive traffic to stores, support sales promotions, and expand our reach in new regions.
  • Partner closely with retail leadership, sales teams, and operations to align marketing efforts with business objectives and seasonal priorities.
  • Create customer-facing materials, content, and promotions tailored to both local markets and company-wide initiatives.
  • Develop strategy and tactics to support new lines of business and segments.
  • Manage day-to-day marketing activities—including campaign execution, vendor coordination, creative approvals, and reporting.
  • Monitor campaign results, customer insights, and sales data to continuously optimize performance.
  • Develop local marketing team to build regionally tailored marketing programs.
  • Oversee agencies, contractors, or junior team members while remaining hands-on with execution and delivery.
  • Balance strategic initiatives with the ability to personally execute projects quickly and effectively.
