Essential Job Results and Responsibilities: Brand development Responsibilities 1. Coordinates activities with Management to identify market potential and growth strategies. 2. Provide estimates of potential sales with research of the market and communication with territory managers and store managers. 3. Provides regular feedback through email or call notes to the management team on distribution concerns and logistic issues. Review of weekly communications with Territory managers related to product and business requests. 4. Defines promotional opportunities and works with marketing to develop product solutions based on individual dealer needs. 5. Follows up promptly on all customer requests for information, quotes, alternative parts and delivery dates. Proactively communicates with customers about any expected delays or issues with their promotions or product delivery. 6. Develop good working relationships and rapport with customer accounts. acknowledges key customers by name. 7. Provides expertise on specific product segments and the available programs to develop strategies that are applicable to our Johnstone supply business plan. 8. Resolves customer complaints and disputes in a timely, professional manner that balances customer requests with business needs. 9. Monitors customer pricing requests to support regional pricing needs with leadership team. Business Development Responsibilities 1. Plans, organizes assigned sales programs to ensure they do not exceed budgetary goals and that all Johnstone resources are fully utilized. 2. Educates contractors/prospects of the variety of products available from Johnstone supply and the benefits they can receive by using all vendor available programs. 3. Increase customer and store profitability by proactively recommending additional business opportunities that our customers can participate in to enhance their business. 4. Uncover new opportunities to pursue with Territory managers related to equipment brand sales growth. 5. Communicates unexpected increases or decreases in product demand and inventory to purchasing or management. Updates to priority product segments forecast quarterly. 6. Development of vendor resources and training support plans with internal resources. 7. Development, mentoring and training of TM’s to position them to grow their respective territories. General Results Responsibilities 1. Maintains knowledge of new and existing products and inventory by participating in training, utilizing technology, ecommerce solutions and seeking knowledge from staff members and factory reps. 2. Plans for travel weekly with territory managers to existing or prospect accounts. Plan monthly account visits with the branch manager to assess customer feedback and opportunities. 3. Builds on professional and personal growth and education in utilization of business development training. 4. Tracking Sales growth of Unitary, Mini-split and monthly report cards utilized by Territory managers. 5. Will be organized to maintain data from 3 months and 12 months rolling vendor information to implement adjustments as needed. 6.
