Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of marketing or Brand Management experience.
  • Retail/CPG marketing or sales experience preferred
  • Pattern of initiative
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment on a variety of complex projects
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated creative thinking skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude and effectiveness in budget and financial management
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Business planning, P&L management, business initiative execution: Develops and executes the annual operating plan (AOP) financial targets. Establishes business objectives, strategies, and tactics to attain AOP. Achieves volume, net revenue, and gross margin targets.
  • Brand Equity Management: Leads brand equity development and consumer engagement strategies and tactics to achieve consumer and business objectives. Works with agency partners to create annual consumer media, promotion and public relations plans.
  • Innovation/Renovation: Leads future growth by identifying new product and line extension opportunities by analyzing consumer trends, determining specific market needs and potential, and building a business case. Actively manages total branded portfolio to ensure relevancy (sku rationalization, PPA, all customer/consumer touchpoints)
  • Sales Enablement: Fosters strong relationships with the Direct Sales and Distribution Team, as well as our Agency Partners (Brokers) that support our C-store and Unattended retail initiatives. Provides strategic support (presentations, support materials) to enable our commitment to being an indispensable business partner and thought leader in the Convenience channel.
  • Cost and Margin Leadership: Leads operations, logistics, forecasting, and purchasing departments to management of finished goods and supply inventories. Leads and manages indirect cross-functional team members to accomplish projects that support brand initiatives and business needs.
  • Channel Development: Works collaboratively with category management on strategic selling. Develops trade strategy. Monitors marketplace dynamics and implements corrective action when and where necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establishes strong and trusted working relationships with cross functional team members.
