About The Position

The Brand Manager of Brand Expansion at Morton Salt is a pivotal role within the Marketing Innovation Team, focused on expanding the brand's reach and driving long-term growth. The role encompasses managing new product portfolios from ideation to commercialization, ensuring financial targets are met, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in brand management or product innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in P&L management.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in consumer insights and market research.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage tools such as syndicated data and consumer research to identify and advance new product initiatives.
  • Lead the ideation, development, and execution of product and packaging innovation plans.
  • Initiate and drive cross-functional teams to deliver against planned innovation initiatives.
  • Manage products through the Stage Gate process effectively.
  • Conduct P&L analysis of the innovation portfolio to improve category profitability.
  • Develop and refine innovation strategies for assigned consumer segments in partnership with Brand Teams.
  • Ensure innovation strategies succeed in the evolving retail landscape, including eCommerce.
  • Develop positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies for new products.
  • Use insights to define brand positioning and portfolio strategy.
  • Identify unmet consumer needs to strengthen the product portfolio.
  • Build and communicate brand value to support pricing for new products.
  • Support the in-market success of new products with comprehensive marketing plans.
