About The Position

We are seeking a driven Brand Designer to help define and scale how the world sees and understands our spacecraft, our technology, and our mission. This role sits on the Marketing team and reports directly to the Head of Marketing. You will be responsible for shaping Apex’s visual identity and translating complex, technical products into clear, compelling, and consistent brand expressions across Apex’s brand properties, including but not limited to Apex’s website, social channels, customer-facing marketing materials, and physical collateral.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in brand design, graphic design, or a related role
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand system development and polished execution across multiple mediums
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint
  • Experience building and maintaining brand design systems
  • Strong visual design fundamentals (typography, layout, hierarchy, consistency)
  • Ability to translate complex or technical ideas into clear, compelling visuals
  • Comfortable owning projects end-to-end as an individual contributor

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating motion graphics or lightweight animations to support storytelling and campaigns
  • Motion design experience (After Effects)
  • Comfort implementing marketing website updates in Webflow
  • Comfort capturing high-quality photos for marketing use (e.g., events, hardware, people, or in-house content)
  • Interest in space, aerospace, or advanced technology
  • Startup or high-growth company experience

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Apex’s visual brand identity across all marketing mediums
  • Build and maintain scalable brand design systems, guidelines, and templates
  • Design high-quality assets for: Apex’s website, social media, sales decks and customer presentations, physical collateral and event materials, etc.
  • Partner closely with marketing, product, and leadership to translate strategy and technical concepts into visual narratives
  • Ensure consistency, craft, and quality across all externally facing materials
  • Lead creative execution from concept through delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Review and provide direction to contractors or external creative partners as needed
