Noblis is seeking a Brand & Creative Operations Lead to join our dynamic team in Reston, VA. Lead the creative vision for a mission-driven science and technology organization. Elevate the Noblis brand through modern, integrated storytelling that translates complex technical work into compelling visual narratives. This role blends creative strategy with hands-on execution across video, motion graphics, digital assets, immersive media, and interactive content to deliver high-impact experiences for employees, customers, and the public.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience OR Associate degree with 8 years of experience OR High School diploma with 11 years of experience.
  • Progressive experience in creative strategy, brand development, multimedia production, or integrated marketing environments.
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing modern storytelling across video, digital, motion graphics, and visual communication formats.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and modern design tools.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience incorporating immersive media, AR/VR concepts, interactive content, data visualization, or 2D/3D animation into storytelling strategies.
  • Experience mentoring, guiding, or leading creative contributors or cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in government contracting, technology, or science-focused organizations.
  • Understanding of UX principles and digital experience standards.
  • Active U.S. government security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic creative direction and brand stewardship across all internal and external communications channels, ensuring alignment with evolving brand standards and innovation priorities.
  • Lead the development of modern multimedia storytelling strategies across video, motion graphics, interactive digital experiences, immersive media concepts including AR and VR, data visualization, infographic storytelling, and 2D and 3D animation where appropriate.
  • Translate complex scientific and technical concepts into clear, visually compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences including clients, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee end-to-end multimedia production workflows including concept development, scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, motion design, animation, and digital asset creation.
  • Drive rapid content production and repurposing strategies, transforming long-form content into scalable micro-stories optimized for social, internal communications, web, and digital distribution.
  • Establish and maintain creative standards, templates, style guides, and asset libraries that enable efficient, high-quality, and scalable execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Internal Communications, External Marketing, and Marketing Operations to deliver cohesive, on-brand creative solutions that support Mission Areas and Shared Services.
  • Guide and mentor creative contributors and cross-functional partners, fostering collaboration, innovation, and strong creative discipline.
  • Partner with vendors and agencies for specialized creative services as needed, managing quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Support integrated campaigns and enterprise initiatives including the Noblis 30th Anniversary celebration and other strategic brand moments.
