The Brand Content and Copywriter Manager is responsible for developing, executing and implementing content strategies that align with our brand's vision, business goals, and target audience needs. Your talent for developing data-driven content plans will help increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across all marketing channels. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of content marketing best practices. This role is responsible for producing high-quality written content in various formats, including blog posts, website copy, video scripts, email campaigns, and social media posts. The ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt writing style to different formats and audiences is crucial in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand and content strategy and copywriting.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Fluency in both digital and traditional channels, including all social media platforms, content creation, and video.
  • Strong copy-editing and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Ability to confidently and tactfully engage with senior staff and subject-matter experts; skill at achieving consensus and moving projects forward.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize content performance.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop editorial strategies and execute editorial content to enhance engagement and conversion across marketing channels (website, email, social media, digital, and print platforms), ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with various teams to determine key annual themes and topics for the content plan, establishing content governance to maintain brand consistency in tone and style.
  • Participate in strategic discussions, offering insights and recommendations based on content performance data, to guide future strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research to deeply understand the target audience's preferences, pain points, and content consumption habits, alongside a continuous competitive and industry analysis.
  • Regularly review and optimize content, performing content audits to ensure consistency, accuracy, and relevance and to keep abreast of industry trends and audience needs.
  • Manage the creation, distribution, and promotion of diverse content types across relevant channels. Ensure content scheduling aligns with product launches, promotions, and overall brand messaging.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and freelance contributors, to guarantee content reflects brand guidelines, messaging strategies, and audience preferences. Oversee the recruitment and management of freelance talent, maintaining the brand’s voice and style across all outputs.
  • Develop, refine, and implement content workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and the overall content lifecycle. This includes assigning, editing, and ensuring the timely delivery of all content pieces.
  • Produce SEO-friendly content optimized for search engines, improving online visibility, readability, and user experience. Collaborate on creating a variety of content forms to support corporate messaging, campaign objectives, and thought leadership, ensuring alignment with target personas and marketing goals.
  • Lead the collaborative efforts of writers, designers, and multimedia producers to generate high-quality, engaging content that remains on-brand and on-message. Uphold editorial standards by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
