About The Position

Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking an intern to join the Brand and Customer Service section. This internship will provide a valuable opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in brand and creative production, supporting our organization's mission to serve the customers of Colorado Springs effectively. The intern will have the chance to learn about the entire process of brand and creative production, from initial concept development to final execution. This experience will be instrumental in helping the intern understand how our brand strategies align with our goals to enhance customer satisfaction and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Candidates MUST be enrolled in a degree seeking program (Associates/Bachelors/Masters) with a 2.5 GPA and be able to provide documentation if requested. Enrollment in a certification program does not qualify.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Materials Creation: Developing brochures, flyers, newsletters, and other print and digital materials that effectively communicate our services and initiatives to the community
  • Video Production: Producing high-quality videos for promotional campaigns, customer education, and internal communications. This includes scripting, filming, editing, and post-production
  • Graphic Design: Crafting visually appealing graphics for use in various media, including websites, social media, and print materials. This involves creating logos, infographics, and other visual content that aligns with our brand identity
  • Social Media Management: Creating and scheduling engaging social media posts to enhance our online presence and interact with our audience. This includes content creation, community management, and performance analysis
  • Brand Strategy Implementation: Ensuring that all creative outputs are consistent with our brand guidelines and contribute to our overall brand strategy
