About The Position

We’re looking for a Brand Activation Manager who knows how to spot meaningful opportunities—ranging from small, individual moments to larger-scale cultural or community-driven opportunities—and bring them to life in ways that feel authentic to Owala. You’ll partner closely with our Community, Content, and Brand teams to surface these moments through social listening, cultural awareness, and insights from our engaged consumer base. This role is ideal for someone scrappy, energetic, and highly proactive. Someone who can think strategically while thriving in execution—coordinating details, moving quickly, and delivering polished, reliable work. You’ll also build the frameworks, workflows, and annual roadmap that guide how we activate throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Scrappy, energetic, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent executor with the ability to move fast while keeping details tight
  • Strong strategic thinker who can connect insights to action
  • Experience in brand activation, community engagement, experiential, or social-led marketing
  • Solid understanding of cultural trends and social platforms
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under pressure
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proven ability to take even a loose spark of an idea and execute a refined, complete activation

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Community and Content teams to identify opportunities—from small-scale individual interactions to larger cultural or social moments
  • Use social listening, cultural awareness, and community insights to spot meaningful opportunities for authentic engagement
  • Concept and execute brand activations that deepen consumer connection and strengthen affinity
  • Build strategic frameworks, playbooks, and an annual activation roadmap to guide consistent, repeatable execution
  • Lead end-to-end execution of activations: planning, approvals, coordination, fulfillment, communication, and post-activation wrap-up
  • Work closely with Creative to ensure assets, messaging, and packaging align with the brand
  • Collaborate with Brand, Community, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution across functions
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of activations to optimize future efforts
  • Operate autonomously, taking initiative and driving projects forward without needing step-by-step direction
  • Maintain a strong pulse on culture, conversation, and community sentiment, translating insights into actionable opportunities
