About The Position

Metro Credit Union is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales and Service Supervisor to help lead our Lawrence, MA branch. In this role, you'll work closely with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, support team development, and ensure exceptional service for our members. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of banking experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with computers, web browsers, and office software.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and de-escalation.
  • Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Manage branch operations including opening and closing procedures.
  • Provide approvals and system overrides for transactions exceeding employee limits.
  • Train and coach new team members on products, services, and procedures.
  • Support implementation and testing of new standard operating procedures and equipment.
  • Handle a wide range of member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances.
  • Maintain accuracy in balancing individual work, vault cash, recyclers, and ATMs.
  • Open consumer deposit accounts and conduct loan interviews based on member needs.
  • Ensure all account and loan documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Resolve member inquiries and service issues with professionalism and care.
  • Promote Metro’s products and services through effective cross-selling and referrals.
  • Lead the team in the absence of branch leadership.
  • Participate in the Universal Service program, supporting other departments and achieving program goals.
  • Oversee Sales & Service Representatives when the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager are unavailable.
