About The Position

Our Branch Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school branch operations, including but not limited to, Member services and Student Member Service Representatives at their location. Requirements

  • At least 1 -2 years Credit Union experience or a combination of cash handling and customer service experience
  • Knowledge of products, services and technology driven processes relating to the daily branch operations
  • Demonstrates leadership skills with the ability to effectively train and motivate employees
  • Networking and relationship-building skills
  • Work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills
  • Dependable; punctual and regular attendance
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and support the credit union’s mission and values
  • A willingness to learn new processes to grow

Responsibilities

  • Represents Neches FCU at the Nederland High School Branch, activity promoting visibility and awareness within the school community
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of School Branch operations, including member services and the supervision of the Student Member Service Representatives (MSRs)
  • Educates and informs about our products and services available at the Branch
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Nederland students, faculty, and staff
  • Collaborate with faculty to foster and enrich financial literacy initiatives
  • Oversee Student MSR performance by coaching, training and motivating
  • Host: N-Spire events as needed
  • Delivers prompt, professional, and personalized service
  • Reinforce the Credit Union’s mission, vision, and core values by promoting a commitment to Signature Service
  • Creates a fun environment of teamwork and comradery
  • Other duties as assigned
