About The Position

Serves the public and promote good customer relations reflecting the Bank’s community image. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines. Plans, organizes and manages the activities of assigned branch in conformance with established Bank strategies, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or its equivalent in retail management course work and related training.
  • At least five years in branch supervision or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Excellent management, customer service, sales/business development and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technologically proficient.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and ensures the effectiveness of the assigned Branch’s plan of organization.
  • Ensures the efficient, effective, courteous and confidential delivery of customer services by assigned staff.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training and coaching employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Participates in setting goals and objectives for the branch in conjunction with VP-Retail Banking.
  • Prepares reports of branch activity and goal/objective achievements.
  • Works to achieve assigned personal and branch sales and service goals; educates, coaches and motivates branch staff to recognize and fulfill sales and service expectations.
  • Enforces compliance with operational policies and procedures as stated in the operations manual, as well as enforcement of security and auditing procedures.
  • Acts as a resource for Branch employees in processing unusual transactions.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of the end of day balancing and reporting of branch activities.
  • Works as a teller when necessary.
  • Provides a high level of customer service relative to new and existing accounts.
  • Interviews and takes applications for retail loans.
  • Ensures the proper maintenance of branch grounds, facilities and equipment.
  • Oversees the security of branch premises.
  • Represents the Bank through participation in various community and industry related activities.
  • Actively promotes interest in the Bank whenever possible.
  • Keeps abreast of regulatory compliance and developments for assigned area and apprises staff of same.
  • Recommends procedural changes as needed to support prescribed requirements.
  • Required to work at least 2 Saturdays a month.
  • Performs related and unrelated duties as needed.
