About The Position

The Branch Manager is responsible for day-to-day leadership, operations, and financial performance of a commercial landscape branch. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, team development, safety, and client satisfaction while following the budget, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in commercial landscaping or related service operations.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a field-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of landscape maintenance operations and labor management.
  • Working knowledge of job costing, scheduling, and productivity tracking.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily commercial landscape operations.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on time, on budget, and to quality expectations.
  • Support Business Development Team in obtaining new maintenance contracts.
  • Manage labor, materials, and equipment costs to meet budgeted targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (labor efficiency, gross margin, AR, Etc.).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Weekly forecast
  • Supervise, coach, and support field leadership and branch staff.
  • Hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Reinforce company standards, policies, and culture.
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Maintain high standards for quality and compliance across all job sites.
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Champion safety programs and lead by example to reduce incidents and claims.
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Support timekeeping, payroll accuracy, and documentation.
  • Assist with fleet, equipment, and material coordination.
  • Help maintain organized records related to operations, safety, and compliance.
  • Support implementation of company systems, processes, and technology.
