Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in a similar role may substitute for formal education.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of management experience in delivery, logistics, or operations
  • Demonstrated client-facing experience with a track record of maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerBI, and other applications.
  • Ability to quickly learn additional internal software as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in vending machine and micro-market operations, including planogramming and account retention, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the branch team, including one territory manager and all route drivers, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and alignment with Pepi’s core values.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Delivery to implement branch-level strategies that support company-wide goals for micro-market and vending machine operations.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the territory manager and route drivers to review performance metrics, safety standards, and delivery schedules, ensuring effective communication and execution.
  • Act as a client-facing representative for the branch, maintaining strong relationships with local accounts to enhance retention and satisfaction.
  • Oversee branch inventory, ordering, and general warehouse management, ensuring adequate stock levels for micro-markets and vending machines while minimizing waste and costs.
  • Manage delivery and logistics operations, coordinating with the territory manager to optimize route efficiency and ensure timely servicing of all units.
  • Utilize analytics to monitor branch profitability, analyzing data on delivery performance, inventory turnover, and sales to drive operational improvements.
  • Implement planograms for vending machines and micro-markets, optimizing product placement to maximize sales and meet customer preferences at the branch level.
  • Learn and utilize internal software systems to manage inventory, track delivery schedules, and oversee branch operations effectively.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and enforce the same standard among route drivers, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Oversee safety training and protocols for warehouse and delivery staff, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards and food safety regulations.
  • Ensure all branch operations, including warehousing and delivery, meet Pepi’s “Gold Standard” for quality, timeliness, and customer service excellence.
