About The Position

As a Hydro Excavation Branch Manager at Porta Kleen, you will lead all aspects of branch operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. This role is critical in driving branch performance, overseeing financial accountability, fostering team development, and managing client relationships in a fast-paced, 24/7 industrial service environment. What you’ll do as an employee at Porta Kleen: Oversee daily operations of the hydro excavation branch, ensuring alignment with Porta Kleen safety standards and company policies. Lead and support operations through employee training, development, and performance management. Drive profitability by managing branch budgets, capital expenditures, and full P&L accountability. Collaborate with the sales team on pricing, bids, customer outreach, and regional growth strategies. Supervise operational execution through your Operations Manager, ensuring workforce and equipment are effectively scheduled and deployed. Regularly engage with jobsites, employees, and clients to maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction. Foster a strong working relationship within a union environment and ensure compliance with labor agreements. Provide 24/7 branch oversight including emergency response readiness, balancing manpower and equipment logistics. What you’ll need: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field. 5–7 years of management experience, preferably in construction, oil/gas, or industrial services. Strong leadership in human resources functions including hiring, coaching, and employee relations. Experience managing operations across geographically dispersed locations. Knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems, with multitasking and project management skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to work extended hours and be available for emergency response support.
