About The Position

First National Bank of America is looking for a Branch Business Banking Specialist to join our East Lansing branch. The ideal candidate will be able to combine accuracy and follow-through with excellent customer service and sales skills. Candidates should be able to manage a dynamic workload while operating in a fast-paced environment. Courtesy, customer service, and tact are essential elements of the job. This role involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Requirements

• Detailed knowledge of business deposit account opening documentation and regulations.
• Previous outside sales or cross-selling experience required
• Detail oriented with outstanding written and spoken communication skills, including professional and timely follow-up
• Must have a working knowledge of full Microsoft Office suite
• Requires effective and courteous communication with customers and/or other employees using common telecommunications and computer equipment
• Ability to read, examine, and organize documents

Responsibilities

• Drive new business deposit account activity via multiple channels including branch interactions, internal bank referrals and outside sales
• Implement and maintain treasury management services across entire life cycle of customer relationship
• Accurately open, update and maintain customer accounts, profiles in Jack Henry core
• Responsible for daily, quarterly and annual reporting for business customers
• Participate in local networking events to build relationships and grow low-cost deposits for the Bank
• Support existing East Lansing branch team with exceptional customer service and cooperation
• Comply with all relevant regulations and follow all bank procedures
