About The Position

Locke Supply Company of Plano, TX is seeking an outgoing and energetic Branch Associate to provide excellent customer service at our branch locations, offer advice and recommendations based on customers needs, and deliver products from our branches to the customer. This position is for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is mechanically-minded. Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment based in Oklahoma City. The company dates back to 1955 and has grown to over 190 store locations in a 6-state area with a 100-acre distribution center. As a Branch Associate, you will love to learn and look forward to a new challenge as you develop hands-on-training and skills in multiple trades. Customers will find you knowledgeable, friendly, and professional as you offer product recommendations and find cost-effective solutions for their needs. You will take pride in keeping the retail store clean and organized, be meticulous about tracking inventory, fill orders, ensure stock is ready for reorders, assist with delivery driving, and help with shipping and receiving. You will also prepare and oversee jobs for the next day, ensuring that equipment and supplies are ready to be loaded into the appropriate trucks.

Requirements

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to pass a pre-employment physical examination
Must pass a D.O.T physical and drug test
Willingness to learn
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Mechanically-minded
