About The Position

Locke Supply Company of Mustang, OK is seeking an outgoing and energetic Branch Associate to provide excellent customer service at their branch locations, offer advice and recommendations based on customers' needs, and deliver products from branches to customers. This position is for someone with excellent attention to detail and a mechanical mind, who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment. Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment, founded in 1955. The company has expanded to over 190 store locations across a 6-state area, supported by a 100-acre distribution center. The role offers opportunities for hands-on training and skill development in multiple trades. Branch Associates are expected to be knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, providing product recommendations and cost-effective solutions. They are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized retail store, meticulously tracking inventory, filling orders, ensuring stock readiness for reorders, and assisting with shipping and receiving. Additionally, they prepare and oversee jobs for the next day, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for loading into appropriate trucks. The position is crucial in ensuring customers receive what they need promptly and efficiently, contributing to proper and efficient job completion.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to pass a pre-employment physical examination
  • Must pass a D.O.T physical and drug test

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service at branch locations
