SouthernCarlson is hiring a Branch Associate who has a background in front counter sales and customer service, is passionate about building relationships, enjoys being involved in various company aspects, and is looking for opportunities for learning and growth within the company.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in sales, customer service, or sales support.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Clear, friendly, and professional communication—whether in person, on the phone, or over email.
  • Eager to learn our products and anticipate customer needs (Growth Mindset).
  • A proactive team player with a can-do attitude who steps in to help without being asked (Initiative).
  • Naturally connects with people and delivers a “WOW” customer experience (Relationship Builder).
  • Comfortable navigating systems and assisting customers digitally (Tech-Savvy).
  • Able to prioritize, multitask, and stay efficient with minimal supervision (Organized & Detail-Orientored).

Responsibilities

  • Be the face of SouthernCarlson by greeting customers, answering inquiries by phone/email, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Build strong customer relationships by learning their needs, recommending solutions, and identifying opportunities to upsell.
  • Support branch operations by assisting sales reps and managers and pulling orders.
  • Keep our showroom organized, merchandised, and ready to impress.
  • Take on a variety of responsibilities, from answering phones to troubleshooting product questions—no two days are the same!
  • Monitor warehouse layout, space utilization, and equipment condition to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational success.
