About The Position

Since 1961, the Wellborn family has owned and operated Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The goal is to provide kitchen and bath cabinets crafted by dedicated Wellborn employees with the utmost quality and care. As the final person to see and touch the product before it is packaged, this role will employ care, quality control, and organizational skills to help carry out the full responsibilities that will continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living.

Requirements

• Must be team oriented, interactive, and possess strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move product within 40-50 seconds.
• The ideal candidate will have an open and socially engaging personality.
• Basic reading is necessary in the pulling of product-identifying information from the ticket.
• Requires good hand/eye coordination.
• Must have above average height for reaching.
• High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cabinets for shipment to customer and insures a professional, high quality, damage free unpackaging presentation.
• Pulls merchandise ticket (label) to determine proper course of action.
• Packs cabinets into boxes according to specific cabinet type and size.
• Properly installed corner pads.
• Neatly tapes boxes according to cabinet size and type.
