Box Truck Driver
About The Position
We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Driver to join our team for a temporary/seasonal assignment. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during a busy season. As a Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and servicing a variety of locations, including business offices and high-end (5-star) properties. Because of this, strong professionalism, a clean appearance, and excellent customer interaction skills are essential. Schedule This position follows a consistent weekly schedule: Week 1 & 2: Monday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 / 1:30 PM Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or later as needed) Week 3 & Beyond: Schedule may be adjusted based on performance and flexibility Mandatory 30-minute lunch break required
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Non-smoker (required)
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and adaptability
- Professional demeanor, especially when interacting with high-end clientele
- Company-provided shirt required
- Pants: Denim or cargo style (no rips or holes)
- Shorts allowed: Cargo shorts with minimum 8" inseam
- Not permitted: Athletic shorts or swim trunks
- Footwear: Closed-toe shoes (sneakers required)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle for deliveries and transportation
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned routes
- Provide professional and courteous service at all delivery locations
- Maintain company standards and follow all safety procedures
