About The Position

The Driver will drive and distribute inventory to our customers and pick up items from various locations. The job requires excellent customer service and professionalism, as the face of Airline Hydraulics. The Driver position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• The ideal candidate must have precise detail orientation and focus
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills

Nice To Haves

• Some secondary education or degree preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Outlook a plus
• Familiarity with machine parts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive company-owned trucks/vehicles to pick up and transport equipment that needs to be repaired to our repair department
• Deliver repaired products back to the customer’s facility
• Pickup/deliver parts from suppliers and other service providers as needed
• Ensure deliveries are carried out in a timely fashion, in line with the customer’s schedule
• Other related duties as assigned by management
• Keeping Active Truck Log (including Mileage and Stops)
• Truck Maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc.
• DOT rules, duties, regulations, and up-to-date pertinent information
• Work with cell shop leaders and shipping / receiving to plan efficient routes for pickup and deliveries (customer service)
