The Snapdragon Stadium Box Office is looking to add to our ticket office event day staff. We are looking for friendly, motivated individuals to work the ticket sales windows at the Box Office on event days. As a Box Office Ticket Seller, you will assist all patrons on event day with purchasing tickets at walk up and troubleshooting potential ticket issues they may have. Opened in September 2022, Snapdragon Stadium is a 35,000-seat multipurpose venue that serves as the home for San Diego State University football, San Diego Wave (NWSL soccer), San Diego FC (MLS soccer), major concerts and festivals, professional sports, motorsports, NCAA and world championships, international soccer, high school sports, entertainment events and private special events.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous retail and/or customer service experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Engaging, enthusiastic, and able to keep that same composure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Punctual and reliable attendance
Nice To Haves
- Experience handling cash preferred
Responsibilities
- Use a computerized ticketing system for walk up ticket sales on event day.
- Accurately process payments for tickets while following all proper box office selling and payment procedures.
- Provide a high level of customer service and tactfully resolve ticketing issues with the general public.
- Assist general public with accessing, transferring and accepting tickets via mobile ticketing prior to entering Snapdragon Stadium.
- Other duties as assigned.
