Frank Productions is looking for a full-time Box Office Manager to join our team in Madison, WI. These brands are full-service concert promotion companies involved in every facet of event management built to help support artists at every level of their careers. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL DO Manage daily operations of the Box Offices efficiently and effectively under the guidance of the Box Office Director Manage the part-time box office staff as manager on duty, including training as necessary Create, modify, and maintain inventory for all ticketed events at assigned venues Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of each assigned show, including settlement reports Perform the daily reconciliation reports for all ticket sales and work with finance to resolve any issues Manage the release of venue holds Build all assigned venue events in Ticketmaster Update and maintain ticketing equipment Work with Ticketmaster to continue developing customer support and systems Sell tickets at the box office window and print tickets for other departments as necessary Provide positive direction and clear communication with ticketing staff, venue guests, venue staff, promoters and other company employees Deliver exceptional customer service by answering phone calls or emails from customers and venue users, assist in solving problems and answering questions All other duties as assigned WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Applicable box office experience; supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of Ticketmaster, or similar software Willingness to work unconventional hours as job duties demand Experience with cash handling Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner Ability to quickly adapt and adjust projects to new expectations and direction Ability to work independently and solve problems using sound decision-making skills Ability to lead and coordinate projects Willingness to travel, as job duties demand Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment that includes in-person collaboration, group e-mails, and instant messaging Professional and friendly demeanor Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Committed to learning, and fostering an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion Ability to learn and work within systems such as MS Office, project management tools, and other company software PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Extended periods of sitting at a computer station or work desk Utilization of hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment Regularly exposed to large crowds and high volumes of noise This position is expected to work forty (40) hours per week or more. This position is an at-will position, meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time without notice or cause. Requirements

  • Applicable box office experience; supervisory experience preferred
